6 RINGS: Rio De Janeiro Central Waterfront

This is a concept for Rio de Janeiro’s central waterfront. The design was inspired by the
Brazilian tradition of South American gardening. The design is robust. The proposed materials are durable. The park reacts the site’s strong local identity and is designed for current and future generations. The central waterfront is a place to meet and enjoy the authentic Brazilian tradition, garden, samba, market, football, art, bar and night life. The basic composition of the elements and components are closely linked to the essence of Rio de Janeiro, the rings. There are six rings which include five garden rings and one waterfront ring.
